| Oakendale Farm is a United States Pony Club Riding Center. Pony Club is the leading equestrian organization for younger equestrians. Along with riding instruction members are taught horse management, good sportsmanship and safety. Meetings consist of mounted lessons and unmounted discussions. Topics range from parts of the horse and breeds, to nutrition, conformation, diseases, competition rules, training techniques and much more. Members build on their riding skills and knowledge. Demonstrating these skills allows members to achieve ratings and compete on teams at rallies and quiz. Pony Club is a good opportunity for younger equestrians meet other riders that share their common interest while gaining knowledge and confidence.
